Frozen silver watchmen make a mortuary sky. She's a child of the rain. Dancing on the golden, its final weep and cry. She'll be coming 'round again. The dark is whipping on the breeze, the storm her loving friend. She'll be with you in the end. Feel your brittle bones shiver shaking, feathery. She is beautiful, fleeting as a memory. The sky's been falling through, downpour's growing old; she laughs at every foolish hope we hold, for winter is coming down the road. Ever she's remembered, but never to be grasped. She's a child of the rain. A killer's grey her halo, a cutting breeze her laugh. There she disappears again. I can see the future's dawn for I have lived the past, those days when I was with my love at last. Feel your brittle bones shiver shaking, feathery. She is beautiful, fleeting as a memory. The sky's been falling through, downpour's growing old; she laughs at every foolish hope we hold, for winter is coming down the road. Crushing leaves like bones, my weary back can't carry more. All these memories bitter show you'll be the same as you were before. Feel your brittle bones shiver shaking, feathery. She is beautiful, fleeting as a memory. The sky's been falling through, downpour's growing old; she laughs at every foolish hope we hold, for winter is coming down the road.

I see murder in the open streets, cutting them down while they're trying to sleep; The neighbourhoods watch them burn to a crisp, just another lost soul that won't be missed. Everybody wants their piece, closing their doors cause they don't believe. Ain't no problem if you can't see none, just close your eyes and the problem's gone. Lock your doors, Board them up. Out of luck? Fire falling, fire falling. Check his pulse; can he still breathe? It's a man named hope for humanity. Everybody's got an angle every body's gonna drop, the train keeps rolling like it's never gonna stop. Something's gotta give, but what's gonna break? The people's hearts or the future they made? Ain't no difference on the bottom line cause they keep selling and we keep buying. Lock your doors, Board them up. Out of luck? Fire falling, fire falling. Make them listen; are they listening? Make them listen; they're not listening.

Tony is a hustler, how we love him so. He is like a father to us, he taught us all we know. One salaphin golden morning he waltzed across our path, he offered us the key to life. We couldn't help but ask: "What's the secret, Tony? Brother would you help us out? We'd do most anything for you to assuage all our doubts." Tony looked at us squarely, said "Brother, I'll tell you what. I'll give you the secret to life for just twenty Altarian bucks." So we forked over our money. He said "I'll give you the key. You can't trust everybody just because they're offering!" "That's the secret Tony? What is this, some kind of joke? Give us back our twenty. We'd rather be stupid than broke." Tony was a hustler, but he'll never try that again, because we took back our money and a little bit extra to spend. "What's the secret Tony? Thank you for nothing, I guess... 'cept for that money. We wish you all the best. Here's a secret Tony, we'll give it to you for fun. Don't hustle somebody outnumbered two to one."

Me and Wylde waltzing down the empty streets; Heard the old man whisper in cryptic speech. Didn't pay him no mind; still the curse took hold. Be you destined to wander, to walk and never find rest. Be you reaching for greatness though it's never in your grasp. Manifest from the mist rose the modeled van. The keys sat on its mast, took them in our hands. As we rode it downwards came his voice from the cold. Be you destined to wander, to walk and never find rest. Be you reaching for greatness though it's never in your grasp.

I'm mad! I've been dwelling in the bottom just a' dwelling in the gutter. I'm angry! How they lead us all like pigs to the slaughter. I'm pissed off! Can't keep swimming in the septic tanks. I'm mad! Bleeding us dry, giving us no thanks. Feel hope rising from the ground, make them listen; shut it down!
